Jim Salzman

James “Jim” Salzman, 84, of Cape Girardeau died July 30, 2024, at his home and surrounded by loved ones.

Before retiring, Salzman was the advertising manager for The Cash-Book Journal in Jackson for 18 years. While there, he served his community and built lifelong relationships with coworkers and community members, and as a result considered it his favorite occupation.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Caraline, he is survived by three sons, Mark, Andrew and Matthew; two grandchildren; and many more family members and friends from throughout Southeast Missouri and beyond.
