MPA, Missouri Broadcasters holding ‘covering the courts’ training July 30

The Missouri Broadcasters Association and Missouri Press Association are hosting a Covering the Courts training Thursday, July 30, in Camdenton. Make plans now to attend or send someone from your newspaper.

The training, which will be held at the Camden County Courthouse in Camdenton, will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by noon. Go to https://bit.ly/CoveringCourts2026 to see a tentative agenda for the July 30 training.

Covering the Courts trainings allow attendees to speak directly with judges, media coordinators and fellow journalists. It is a great opportunity to grow working relationships and for newspaper employees to ask questions about court coverage.
