Almost 100 days into the Israeli state's ongoing, devastating retaliation for the Hamas-led attack across the fortified border around Gaza, tens of thousands of people from around the U.S. marched for Gaza in Washington, from Freedom Plaza to the the White House, calling for an immediate ceasefire. There were chants of "Genocide Joe has got to go", referring to the President's unconditional support for Israel's massive collective punishment of Gaza's population, an estimated ninety percent of which is now internally displaced and running desperately short of food and potable water because of Israel's blockade of the enclave.
