2024 Better Newspaper Contest results announced

Winners of the 2024 Missouri Press Better Newspaper Contest were announced Saturday afternoon, Sept. 21, in Springfield as Missouri Press Association’s 158th Annual Convention concluded.

Gold Cup winners
Weeklies: Cassville Democrat — Class 1; Springfield Business Journal — Class 2; and Washington Missourian — Class 3.
Dailies: Columbia Missourian — Class 1; and The Kansas City Star — Class 2.

PHOTOS of contest winners will be available: If you received your awards at the Saturday luncheon, copies of unedited JPG photos with MPA President Amos Bridges will be available via Dropbox here: https://bit.ly/4glXnUF.
