MPA provides another online money-making opportunity

In Association News On

Missouri Press recently partnered with Dot Connect Media (DCM) to expand the online revenue opportunities available to you — the ConnectMO program.

Your newspaper should join ConnectMO because it can provide immediate revenue if you allocate ad space in the remnant program. Several national advertisers have partnered with DCM. Whenever a full-price ad is not sold, DCM fills that spot with a remnant ad from one of these advertisers. For remnant ads, participating newspapers receive 50 percent of the revenue. Missouri Press can receive a percentage of ad revenue if MPS or a Missouri newspaper sells ads.

Missouri Press Service’s original Online Ad Network set up a few months back is also available to you. This program works the same as our Statewide Classified network and statewide 2×2 display ad network. Revenue Missouri Press receives from selling online ads is shared among all participants.

More details of both networks are available by calling Greg Baker or Michael Daugherty at MPS, (573) 449-4167. If you want to sign up for either of the online advertising programs, call for the registration forms.ConnectMO_SignUp

If your newspaper does not have a website, now is the perfect time to develop one and start taking advantage of these easy revenue sources.
