Missouri Press has joined the Missouri NEA Public Relations Committee and the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Section to challenge students to think about their role as citizens and organize their thoughts into an essay for the annual Law Day Essay Contest. This year’s essay prompt is: "No courts. No justice. No freedom."

Students will compete in three categories, grades 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Essays must be postmarked by Feb. 3, 2012. Click this link to download an ad to promote the contest.
