Don’t forget to publish Postal Statements in October!

In Association News On

One last reminder that it is only a few days until the annual USPS Statement of Ownership, Management and Circulation must be filed with your postmaster in order to remain in compliance with Periodicals Class mailing permit regulations.

Oct. 1 is the deadline to file the statement with the Postal Service. Following the filing deadline, the form must be published in your newspaper. Dailies must publish it by Oct. 10. Weeklies must publish it by Oct. 31.

Failure to file or publish the form can lead to suspension of USPS Periodicals authorization.

USPS Form 3526 is available at your local post office or may be downloaded at: www.usps.com/forms/_pdf/ps3526.pdf.
