About Speaker Norm Frain:

Originally from Buffalo NY, Norm started his career in media at a weekly classified newspaper selling advertising to auto dealers. Norm’s passion is sales and that took him to the Buffalo News. There he worked in the advertising department. He went through the ranks and was promoted to advertising sales management leading sales teams.

An opportunity to work in a larger city and paper became available in 2006 and he moved to St Louis with his wife Phyllis and their two dogs to start at the St Louis Post-Dispatch as Ad Director. A brief but interesting opportunity took him to Connecticut in 2010 as the ad director for the major daily in New Haven, CT, the New Haven Register.

Norm missed the heat, humidity and the Cardinals and returned to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 2012 and is now the Director of Sales Development. This role offers all of his favorite responsibilities from sales, team sales training, onboarding and more sales.

Norm is the grandson of a printer, married, has one daughter and still has two dogs.
