Most of your readers likely don’t know why Memorial Day is a national holiday, but a new feature from Missouri Press will share the story of Decoration Day and the Memorial Day Poppy, which have their beginnings in two wars.

This new feature in our patriotic series created in parternship with The Missouri Bar is available now for your newspaper to publish on or before Memorial Day, commemorated this year on May 26.

To download the feature, visit mo-nie.com and use download code: decoration.

Another feature that might be of interest in June is on flag etiquette. Flag Day is June 14. To access that feature, use the download code: usflag.
