“Using the Newspaper to Meet Common Core Standards,” a new resource from Missouri Press, illustrates the newspaper’s value in the classroom, especially in teaching the skills outlined in the Common Core State Standards.

The guide provides student activities using the newspaper for the K-12 College and Career Anchor Standards — the end goal for all Common Core State Standards, also known in Missouri as the Missouri Learning Standards.

Download, copy and distribute the guide to teachers in your schools. Or put the resource on your website and publish a story about what it is and where to find it. You’ll find the guide at mo-nie.com using the download code: core13.
