NNA Member Alert: Estate Tax, House to Vote on Estate Tax Repeal

The National Newspaper Association has received word from House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-LA, that repeal of the Estate Tax will reach the House floor Thursday afternoon. The bill is H.R. 1105, the Death Tax Repeal Act of 2015 by Reps. Kevin Brady, R-TX, and Sanford Bishop, D-GA.

If the estate tax is of concern to your newspaper or your publishing family, please contact your House member immediately to ask for a yes vote on HR 1105. You can find contact information for your representatives at www.house.gov.
