Safety Vests still available

In Association News On

Missouri Press Foundation has been busy over the past few months taking and filling orders for the PRESS Safety Vests (pictured below). As of Nov. 24, 2008, it is federal law that Reporters AND/OR Photographers working stories on highways that are federally funded MUST be wearing a vest while working.

"We have shipped out over 350 vests to newspapers across the state," said Michael Daugherty, MPA web master. The foundation still has a few vests on-hand (medium and large). Other sizes can still be ordered (through 5XL) but will take longer (allow 2-4 weeks delivery on non-stock vests).

If you need more vests, please contact Michael at (573) 449-4167, or email him at mdaugherty@socket.net.
