A timeline for the State Historical Society of Missouri was published in the Spring 2023 edition of Missouri Times, the magazine for the historical society. As many know, but the details of which may be hazy, members of Missouri Press Association were responsible for the founding of SHSMO following the Association’s meeting in 1898.
