Someone from your newspaper should attend convention.

In Association News On

If you can’t make it to the convention, send someone.  At least don’t miss Saturday’s program. It will feature a digital innovations panel with fellow Missouri newspaper professionals sharing the successes they are finding in new media, tips for covering the Civil War during the sesquicentennial, and Lightning Round Roundtable Sessions on social media, political ad sales and other timely topics.

And all this happens before noon and the annual Better Newspaper Contest Awards! You and your staff have put the time into writing the stories, taking the photos and submitting them to the contest — make sure the winners are on hand to be recognized for their achievement.

There are pricing details, including a special Saturday rate, on the registration form. Take a look and make those hotel reservations today.

The convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia Sept. 20-22. Reserve rooms by calling (573)445-8531 or going to their website.
