Stars & Stripes Museum seeks nominations for service awards

The National Stars and Stripes Museum and Library will host its 160th anniversary celebration in November. The celebration will take place Nov. 4-7, at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau.

As part of the anniversary, members of the Missouri newspaper industry are invited to attend a celebration banquet Saturday night, Nov. 6. Plans for the banquet include a variety of veteran speakers and other officials.

The Museum will also be recognizing Stars & Stripes alumni around the world as well as veterans, first responders, public servants & students who best exemplify the so important qualities of commitment, service and embrace of our sacred freedoms.
