Happy Newspaper In Education Week

In NIE News On
- Updated

This week commemorates the value of the newspaper to young readers.

Write an editorial, publish one of our guest editorials written by the students at the University of Missouri, or dip into the MPA archives to get an editorial cartoon created by the Columbia Daily Tribune’s John Darkow.

Don’t let this week go by without recognizing the importance of Newspaper In Education to our industry, our communities, our schools, and our families. As Dr. Seuess would say: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Visit www.mo-nie.com and use these download codes: 2012 Student editorials (nieops), Darkow cartoons (mocartoon). If you need any information for those editorials, contact Dawn Kitchell at dawn.kitchell@gmail.com.
