Tom photo courtesy of Missouri School of JournalismWarhover, executive editor for Innovation at the Columbia Missourian, will be the keynote speaker Feb. 15 at Mid-America Press Institute’s "Leadership & Management" seminar at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 900 N. Tucker Blvd.

Warhover’s job at the Missourian is to transform the newsroom for the future, experimenting with new approaches and technologies in content and delivery. He also is chair of the print and digital news faculty at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

Prior to joining the university, he worked for The Virginia-Pilot. He also has co-authored a journalism textbook, "Getting the Whole Story: Reporting and Writing the News."

Registration for the one-day seminar is $25 and includes a box lunch. To register, contact MPI Executive Director John Ryan at jmryan@eiu.edu or 217.581.2923.

If you might stay over night in St. Louis to attend the seminar, let Ryan know. If enough MPI members stay over, he will get a group rate at a downtown hotel.
