MPA Elects Mark Maassen 2013 President

Missouri Press Association elected Mark Maassen (right) of the Kansas City Star as its 2013 President at the 146th annual MPA Convention on Sept. 21. He will succeed Phil Conger of the Bethany Republican-Clipper.

 Others elected were:

First Vice President — Richard Gard, St. Louis Daily Record and Missouri Lawyers Media

Second Vice President — Jim Robertson, Columbia Daily Tribune

Secretary — Tay Smith, Perry County Republican-Monitor

Treasurer — Matt Daugherty, Liberty Tribune
