Convention Session Introduction: Jay Dade

Today, we introduce Jay M. Dade, a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and the School of Law at MU. Dade is an experienced labor and employment lawyer who counsels clients on labor/management issues.

Dade has represented employers before the EEOC, National Labor Relations Board, U.S. Department of Labor, Missouri State Board of Mediation and numerous state and local human rights agencies nationwide and has also represented employers in federal and state courts.

He also provides management training programs in the areas of sexual harassment, drug and alcohol policies, labor relations and general personnel administration, as well as in electronic information theft and tampering issues.

At the Convention, Dade will lead a 9:45 a.m. session on Friday about the Ins-and-Outs on Non-Comepete agreements. He will also join MPA hotline counselor Jean Maneke in a discussion of intellectual property issues. Their session will be at 11 a.m. Friday.
