New Gardening Series Offers Great Opportunities for Spring

In NIE News On
- Updated

Warm weather gets folks thinking about gardening and new series from Missouri Press will have young readers using the newspaper for more than peat pot projects and mulch!

Amazing Soil was created in partnership with University of Missouri Extension and offers ready-to-publish features on soil, raised bed gardening, germinating, composting, insects, organic gardening seeds, and conservation. Each feature provides information for readers of all ages and activities for smaller green thumbs.

Use all seven features, or just a few, and seek out garden centers, seed companies, farmers’ markets or other businesses in your community to sponsor the series.

A link in each feature leads readers to more information from Extension, including gardening videos. To download the series, visit www.mo-nie.com, and use download code: garden.
